Actress Eriko Sato appeared at the fashion and music event "Rakuten GirlsAward 2026 SPRING/SUMMER," held at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo) on April 18th, alongside Kaito Matsukura and Nako Yabuki of "Travis Japan."
The three appeared on a special stage for the TV Asahi drama "If I Fell in Love with a Terminator" (Saturdays at 11 PM). The three play editors at "Buncho Publishing," where the handsome android protagonist Tokizawa Eita (Ryota Miyadate) and the heroine Kamio Kurumi (Asami Usuda) work. On the runway, they struck Eita's "I've learned" pose.
Sato spoke about the character she plays, Miharu Tomino, saying, "She's the one who watches over Kurumi. (Miharu) becomes pregnant in the first episode, so I hope you'll pay attention to how her belly gets bigger and bigger." She also spoke about the filming process, saying, "I'm filming while feeling a lot of energy from the young people like Miyadate-san, Matsukura-san, and Yabuki-san," and called out, "I hope you'll call it 'TamiKoi'!"
Matsukura introduced the show by saying, "It's a sci-fi romantic comedy that will make your heart flutter and make you chuckle," and appealed to viewers about the third episode, which will air at 11:30 p.m. that day, saying, "You'll see Miyadate-kun in a traditional Japanese apron, and other cute appearances. The story takes a dramatic turn. I hope you'll watch to see what Eita does."
GirlsAward started in May 2010 and this will be its 29th event. Numerous models and actors will walk the runway in the latest fashions, and there will also be special stages for Fuji TV's Getsuku drama "Canned Mackerel Goes to Space" and the animated film "Sgt. Sgt. Frog Revives and Immediately Faces the Crisis of Earth's Destruction!" which will be released on June 26th.
