Swedish melodic death metal band Arch Enemy held the final show of their Japan tour at Toyosu PIT (Koto Ward, Tokyo) on April 18th. It has been announced that the performance will be broadcast and streamed on WOWOW on June 20th.
Arch Enemy was formed in Sweden, centered around guitarist Michael Amott, and debuted in 1996. The addition of female death metal vocalist Angela Gossow in 2001 brought them significant attention, propelling them to international fame. Their album "Blood Dynasty," released last year, reached the top 10 on the Oricon daily album chart, demonstrating their enduring popularity in Japan.
Afterwards, their second female vocalist, Alissa White-Gluz, suddenly announced her departure, but in February of this year, they welcomed a new female vocalist, Lauren Hart, and released a new song, "To the Last Breath," digitally.
ARCH ENEMY BLOOD DYNASTY JAPAN TOUR 2026 is currently underway in Osaka and Tokyo from April 14th to 18th, and WOWOW will broadcast and stream the final Tokyo performance in June.
