Hideaki Sorachi, known for the popular manga "Gintama," has launched a new series, "2-nen B-gumi Yuusha Destroyers," in the 21st issue of "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), released on April 20th. This marks Sorachi's return to the magazine after approximately seven years, since "Gintama" began serialization in December 2003 and concluded in June 2019.
The manga graced the cover and opening color pages of the issue, and was introduced with the words, "A new series of demon lord comedy!!" and "The legendary—demon lord is back...!!"
In April, Weekly Shonen Jump launched three new series in consecutive issues. Issue 19, released on April 6, featured the start of Mitsushi Nakamura's "Roku's Strange House," Issue 20, released on April 13, featured Masayoshi Sato's "Summer and Firefly Cage," and Issue 21 featured Hideaki Sorachi's "2nd Year B Class: Hero Destroyers."
