On April 5th, the idol group Hinatazaka46 held the final performance (day 2) of their anniversary live concert, "The 7th Hinatansai," at Yokohama Stadium (Naka Ward, Yokohama City). This was the fourth consecutive year that the "Hinatansai" was held at the stadium. The previous day's concert was held in the rain, but on this day the rain stopped, and together with their fans, "Ohisama" (the nickname for Hinatazaka46 fans), they celebrated the start of their 8th year at Hamasta, which is becoming a sacred place for the group.
The live performance began with the members appearing on stage under the direction of their "ace," Nao Kosaka. In a first for the group's live shows, they performed their songs accompanied by a live band.
The members also enlivened the performance with their favorite instruments; Niko Tsurusaki played the trumpet to enhance "Eternal Sophia," and Yoko Shogenji played the electric guitar to "My fans."
Reflecting on the two days, Kosaka smiled and said, "We experienced our first ever live performance in heavy rain, but I'm happy that we can gather at Yokohama Stadium every year. I'm glad that we can continue to build on our best performances each year. It was so much fun!"
Captain Takahashi Mikuni said, "It's not something to take for granted that we can hold an anniversary live every year, so I'm reminded once again of the support we receive every day. Thank you!" She expressed her gratitude to the fans. "There have been many stories over the past seven years, but I've realized that no matter what the weather is like or where we are, the best scenery unfolds wherever we can meet the fans. I'm really excited to see what path we'll take in our eighth year with such wonderful members and fans. I want to fulfill many dreams together with them!"
Then, she called out, "Not just for the eighth year, but will you continue to support us forever?" and a huge cheer erupted from the venue, which was illuminated with glow sticks. At the end of the live performance, it was surprisingly announced that the 17th single, "Kind of love," with Kaho Fujishima as the center, would be released on May 20th, and it was performed for the first time.
