The voice actors for the new heroines in the third season of the TV anime "100 Girlfriends Who Really Really Really Really Love You," based on the romantic comedy manga serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" (Shueisha), have been announced. It has been revealed that Kaori Ishihara will play the role of Chiyo Iin and Ayana Taketatsu will play the role of Nadie.
Ishihara commented, "I'm so happy to be taking on the role of Iin Chiyo! I'm sure you're all familiar with '100 Kano,' but it's a romantic comedy unlike any other, and I was both thrilled to be a part of it and honestly a little worried about whether I could pull off the same energy (laughs)! But once the voice recording started, it was just 'fun! fun!! fun!!!' and I've become addicted to '100 Kano'! Iin Chiyo is a girl with a strong personality and lots of charm, so I hope you'll look forward to it. Please check out the various expressions of Chiyo!"
Taketatsu said, "Nadie speaks in broken, mysterious English (Nadie language) and wears American clothes, but she is actually a Japanese language teacher. Her appearance and way of speaking reflect Nadie's way of life, living earnestly and straightforwardly in order to become the person she wants to be, so I hope you will enjoy the anime itself. When I first went to the recording studio, I was almost overwhelmed by the energy and tension of the other girls and Rentaro, but there was laughter and excitement every time, and I had a lot of fun acting! "The 100 Girlfriends Who Really Really Really Really Love You" is a romantic comedy manga written by Rikito Nakamura and illustrated by Yukiko Nozawa. It began serialization in "Weekly Young Jump" in December 2019. The story follows Rentaro Aijo, who has experienced 100 heartbreaks in middle school and wishes to get his first girlfriend in high school, but is told by the god of love who appears before him that "there are 100 'destined girlfriends' you will meet during your high school life" and "if you meet your destined person and do not fall in love with them and live happily ever after, you will die"...
The first season of the TV anime aired from October to December 2023, and the second season aired from January to March 2025. The third season will begin airing in July.
