It has been announced that the TV anime "Kirio Fan Club," based on the manga "Pon-chan the Earth's Fish," will be collaborating with Hirakata Park (Hirapa), an amusement park in Hirakata City, Osaka Prefecture, on a project called "Kirio Fan Club x Hirakata Park: I Want to Go to Hirakata Park with Kirio-kun."
From April 27th to June 28th, standees featuring newly drawn illustrations will be on display, and original merchandise will be sold. During the collaboration period, special announcements by Aimi Miyoshi and Nami Someya will be broadcast twice a day, in the morning and afternoon. An event will be held on May 10th, featuring Gakuto Kajiwara (voice of Ken Kirio), Yuya Hirose(voice of Mitsuru Mitsuda), and Jin Ogasawara (voice of Hayato Momose).
The series is a one-sided romantic comedy about high school girls Aimi Miyoshi and Nami Someya, who engage in endless fantasies and exchanges of love for their classmate Ken Kirio. It was serialized in "COMIC RUEL" (Jitsugyo no Nihon Sha) from 2022 to 2024. It gained popularity, ranking 6th in "Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2024" (Women's Edition) and 10th in "Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2025" (Women's Edition) for two consecutive years, and was also adapted into a live-action drama.
The anime will be directed by So Toyama and produced by Satelight. It will air on the MBS/TBS anime block "Super Animeism TURBO" starting April 2nd.
