Anzu Akimoto, who served as the first gymnastics instructor on NHK E-TV's children's program "Okaasan to Issho" (Monday-Saturday, 7:45 AM), has joined the talent agency "GATE" on March 28th. The agency also represents the comedy duo "Harisenbon" and talent Becky, marking a new beginning for her.
Akimoto, affectionately known as "Azuki-oneesan," took over as the gymnastics instructor in April 2019 and graduated from the program on March 28th. With 10 years of experience in rhythmic gymnastics, she was in charge of segments such as "Karada☆Dandan" on the program, and her cheerful personality and smile made her popular with children and parents across the country.
