It has been announced that a second season of the TV anime "The Yusha Party wo Oidasareta Kiyobinbo," based on the light novel by Miyako Shinju, will be produced. To commemorate the decision to produce the second season, a visual depicting a mysterious girl bathed in dappled sunlight, and a promotional video showing Orn and his companions facing a new obstacle have been released.
The story follows Orn, the ultimate jack-of-all-trades but master of none, who, despite being the leader of a hero's party, is expelled by his childhood friend Oliver for lacking the necessary skills. He then strives to become the strongest all-rounder in order to protect his precious friends. The novels are published by K Ranobe Books (Kodansha), and the manga adaptation is also popular. The series has sold over 5.2 million copies in total. The first season of the TV anime started in January and concluded with its final episode on March 22nd.
◇Comment from the original author, Miyakogami Itsuki
Thank you so much for the announcement of the production of the second season of the TV anime "The Yusha Party wo Oidasareta Kiyobinbo"! I never thought we'd be able to bring you a continuation like this, so I'm surprised but also very happy. I would like to express my gratitude once again to all the viewers who have supported us this far, and to the staff and cast who have carefully created the work, as well as everyone who has been involved in the production.
As the original author, I was deeply moved to see Orun and the others actually moving, talking, and expressing their emotions in the animation. There are charms of the characters that can only be seen in animation, and I feel like I made many new discoveries myself. It's very moving to think that this time will continue. In the second season, the girl in the kimono who only appeared from behind at the end of episode 12 will also be involved in the story. And there will be a direct confrontation between Orun and Oliver...? I hope you will look forward to the second season. Please continue to support "Jack of All Trades, Master of None"!
