Former Nogizaka46 member and talent Sayuri Matsumura attended the "Happy Kuji '7-Eleven' Product Launch" held in Tokyo on March 12th. This was Matsumura's first public appearance since she announced on her social media account that she had given birth to her first child.
Happy Kuji is a lottery where you can win goods modeled after popular Seven-Eleven products, such as a "Karaage Stick" plush toy, and will go on sale from March 13th. Matsumura, holding the grand prize "Karaage Stick" plush toy, said with a smile, "When I was in Nogizaka46, I was in a unit called 'Karaage Sisters' with Ikuta Erika, and I loved her in my private life too. I always bought Seven-Eleven's Karaage Sticks." While surprised by the size of the plush toy, she said, "I have no problem (even with this size), I want to eat 100 of them (laughs)."
Appearing in a slender dress that made it hard to believe she had just given birth, Matsumura had a constant smile on her face throughout the event. She posed enthusiastically during the photo session, and even happily agreed to the photographer's request for an unusual pose, "as if you were holding a fried chicken stick."
