The fifth episode of the popular TBS Sunday Theatre drama "Reboot" (Sundays at 9 PM), starring Suzuki Ryohei, aired on February 22nd. The "real" Gido (Suzuki) said to Hayase (Suzuki) who was impersonating Gido, "There is another 'Goroku's' (Kitamura Yukiya) dog' hiding in the police force besides me." On social media, there are multiple opinions as to who "Goroku's dog" could be.

Gido, who had Hayase in custody, claimed that he had not killed Natsumi (Yamaguchi Sayaka). When Hayase pointed out the 1 billion yen and Natsumi's belongings in the storage room, Gido tilted his head and asked, "Storage room?"
Hayase checks the emails on Gido's laptop in his police locker and finds that the money and belongings were in the storage room that Gido rented. Gido finally seems to understand, muttering, "So you're trying to pin the blame on me," and concludes, "You've been deceived by Kogo Ichika (Toda Erika)."
After explaining that he had not rented a storage room and that the email on the computer was a trap set by someone, Gido was shown telling Hayase, "There is another Goroku dog hiding in the police force besides me. I don't know who it is, but it was that person who planted the computer."
The characters from the Metropolitan Police Department who appear in the drama include Inspector Makita (Hideaki Ito), Gido's subordinates Adachi (Aju Makita) and Teramoto (Daisuke Nakagawa), Makita's subordinate Yorii (Haru Fujita), and Hijikata (Reika Aiki) from the Second Investigative Division.
Social media was abuzz with comments such as, "Who's Goroku's dog?! Makita? It's so recognizable lol," "Goroku's dog is Adachi," "Maybe Teramoto is a parallel between Ichika's dog and Goroku's dog?" "The police and Inspector Makita are incredibly suspicious, but Gido's two subordinates are also suspicious... Goroku's dog?" "Makita's subordinate Yorii has such a low presence that it seems like he knows something," "Inspector Makita is trying to expose evil. I think Yorii is quite suspicious as well," and "Higasshi's two subordinates are suspicious, and so are the inspector and Inspector Hijikata."
