The Japan Anniversary Association has announced that February 13th has been officially registered as "Brother's Day" for the anime series "The Irregular at Magic High School." To commemorate "Brother's Day," a visual of Shiba Tatsuya from the film "The Irregular at Magic High School: The Yotsuba Succession" has been released, along with a commemorative photo of Yuichi Nakamura, who plays Shiba Tatsuya, Saori Hayami, who plays Shiba Miyuki, and Chiwa Saito, who plays Yotsuba Maya.
"The Irregular at Magic High School" is a popular light novel published by Dengeki Bunko (KADOKAWA). Set at the National Magic University Affiliated First High School (Magic High School), which trains magic users, the story follows the exploits of siblings Tatsuya Shiba and Miyuki. The series has sold over 25 million copies in total.
The first season of the TV anime aired in 2014, and the movie version of the anime, "The Irregular at Magic High School: The Girl Who Calls the Stars," was released in 2017. The second season of the TV anime, "The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc," aired in 2020, and the TV anime "The Irregular at Magic High School: Reminiscence Arc" aired on January 1, 2022. The third season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2024. The movie version of the anime, "The Irregular at Magic High School: The Yotsuba Succession," will be released on May 8.
