Among the first-time entries, "Galaxy Express Milky Subway: Local Train to the Theater" (directed by Yohei Kameyama), a theatrical version of the short anime "Galaxy Express Milky Subway," ranked fourth despite being released in only 73 theaters. In the three days since its release on February 6, it attracted approximately 109,500 viewers and grossed approximately ¥151 million. "BE: the ONE -START BEYOND DREAM-" (directed by Oh Yoon-dong and Kim Ha-min), a film that follows the dance and vocal group BE:FIRST on their first world tour, visiting 12 cities across Asia, Europe, and North America, debuted at sixth place. Coming in at tenth is "The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya" (directed by Yasuhiro Takemoto), an animated film adaptation of Nagaru Tanigawa's popular light novel series "Haruhi Suzumiya," published by Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko (KADOKAWA).
The second chapter of the animated film Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash (directed by Murase Shukou), which ranked first last week, Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash: Circe's Witch, came in second place. Over the three-day weekend, it attracted an audience of approximately 203,700 people and grossed approximately 360 million yen.
Now in its 10th week of release, "Zootopia 2" (directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard) maintained its strong performance, coming in third place with an audience of approximately 173,000 people and box office revenue of approximately 256 million yen over the three-day weekend. Cumulatively, it has attracted approximately 10.6 million viewers and grossed over 14.4 billion yen, making it into the top 20 of the all-time box office rankings.
