Fuji Television will broadcast "Live Election Sunday" for approximately four hours from 7:58 p.m. until midnight as a special program for the House of Representatives election, which will be held on February 8th.
The main anchors will be Miyane Seiji from "Mr. Sunday" and Miyaji Manami from "Live News It!", with Kanda Aika, the "weekday daytime face" of "Poka Poka", and Yume Pote, a talent who is popular with Generation Z, joining as guests for the first time.
The election report anchors for the election results will be Takemata Beni and Kamigaki Kotaro. Takemata will be joining the program in a continuation from her role on the daytime program "Minna no KEIBA."
Guests in the studio include former Osaka Governor Toru Hashimoto and political journalist Akiko Iwata. The show is billed as the first "viewer participation" election special in the show's history, and viewers are invited to vote by pressing the d button on "what they would like to ask the party leaders." Hashimoto will pose questions to the leaders of each party, while Iwata will explain "why the results turned out the way they did."
