The fourth episode of the drama series "Reunion ~Silent Truth~" (TV Asahi, Tuesdays 9pm), starring actor Ryoma Takeuchi, aired on February 3rd. The episode included a scene in which Junichi (Takeuchi) eats at home with his live-in girlfriend Hiromi (Kita Kana), which drew a lot of attention on social media, with some people recalling Takeuchi's character Katsuo in the popular TBS Tuesday drama "Jya, Anata ga Tsukute Miroyo" (Let's Make It), which aired from October to December last year.
◇The following contains spoilers.
In episode 4, the murder of Sakuma Hideyuki (Koyanagi Yu), the supermarket manager and brother of Naoto (Watanabe Daichi), is revealed to be a case of collusion between Makiko (Inoue Mao) and Keisuke (Seto Koji), and whether it was Keisuke who dug up the murder weapon... Following eyewitness testimony from the night before the incident, Junichi questions Keisuke about the truth. Pressed by Junichi, Keisuke says that he opened the time capsule containing the gun, but the gun was not inside.
Meanwhile, Detective Minami Ryo (Eguchi Noriko) begins sniffing around without her partner Junichi's knowledge, and obtains new evidence that has never come to light before.
And finally, the decision was made to voluntarily accompany a certain person...and the situation unfolded.
In the episode, there was a scene where Junichi and Hiromi were eating hand-rolled sushi at the dinner table. As Junichi wrapped shrimp around the sushi and ate it in one bite, Hiromi asked, "Do you like it that much?" to which Junichi replied, "Yes. I love everything about it, the taste and the color." When Hiromi said that her favorite ingredient in hand-rolled sushi was seaweed, Junichi laughed in surprise and said, "Seaweed, you mean? Wow, seaweed. Seaweed, huh?"
On social media, the scene where Junichi and Hiromi eat together has been met with many comments that recall Takeuchi's role as Katsuo, a man who has many comments to make about his girlfriend's cooking, from the drama "So, You Make It," in which he plays the character. Comments such as "Takeuchi Ryoma at the dinner table reminds me of the previous drama lol," "Takeuchi Ryoma eating at home looks like Katsuo," "Whenever there's a scene around the dinner table, I get nervous because I feel like he'll start complaining," "He looks like he'll start talking about hand-rolled sushi (laughs)," and "He's starting to look a bit like Katsuo" have become a hot topic.
