Actor Shuhei Nomura appeared at a press conference held in Tokyo on July 1st for the ABC TV/TV Asahi drama series "My Fiction" (Sundays at 10:15 PM).
Nomura will play Daisuke Tsumura, a murderer who has served seven years in prison. He revealed that he cut his hair short before filming began, recalling, "My hair was down to about my nipples. I almost cried when I cut it."
He continued, "I noticed that there are more and more people with long hair around. I'm just talking about my friends, but they all looked a bit scruffy (laughs). I wondered if I looked like that too, and I was actually thinking about cutting my hair."
Yuta Tamamori, Aoi Morikawa, Emma Miyazawa, and Jumbo Takao from the comedy duo "Rainbow" also attended the press conference announcing the production.
In the peaceful town of Morinuma Next Town, the protagonist, Masaki Ikawa (Tamamori), works as a caregiver at a nursing home and enjoys a happy life with his beloved wife, Mayumi (Miyazawa), whom he has been married to for six years, and their pet finch, Piotr. Then, one day, Ikawa is involved in a fall and falls into a coma. A week later, he wakes up and returns home to find someone else living there, impersonating him. Furthermore, it seems that neither his colleagues nor even his wife, Mayumi, remember Ikawa... This is a suspenseful love story.
