It has been announced that the third stage adaptation of the popular light novel " That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ), which Shosetsuka ni Naro on the novel submission site "Shosetsuka ni Narou," titled "Stage ' That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime' 3 - Demon Lord Awakening Arc & Eight Star Shining Arc," will be performed in October. Following the first and second installments, Hana Ogi of the idol group "≠ME" will play the main character, Rimuru Tempest.
The cast also includes Futa Sakayori as Diablo, the primordial demon; Takuya Masunaga as Veldora, the catastrophic dragon Rimuru first encounters after his reincarnation; and Mai Takahashi of "≒JOY" as Hinata Sakaguchi, the chief knight of the Holy Guard of the Holy Empire of Ruberios and commander of the Holy Knights of the Western Holy Church. The play will be performed from October 22nd to 25th at Theater 1010 (Adachi Ward, Tokyo).
Ogi said, "This is my third time appearing in the series, following the first installment, and I am truly happy and honored to be able to return to this world as Rimuru Tempest. I think this story is a key point in the original work. To be honest, I am anxious and nervous, but I am a huge fan of 'That Time I Got Reincarnated as That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime,' so I will take responsibility and give it my all. I hope to see you at the theater!!"
The first season of the TV anime aired from October 2018 to March 2019, the first part of the second season aired from January to March 2021, the second part from July to September of the same year, and the third season aired from April to September 2024. A completely new theatrical film, " That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Crimson Bonds Arc," with a story concept by Fuse, was released in November 2022. The second theatrical film, "That That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime : Tears of the Azure Sea Arc," was released on February 27th, which has also been a topic of discussion. The fourth season of the TV anime will consist of five cours. The first and second cours will be broadcast consecutively as two cours, airing every Friday at 11 PM on Nippon Television's anime block "FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT (FuraAni)."
