The NHK Taiga drama "BROTHERS IN ARMS (Toyotomi Brothers!)", starring actor Taiga Nakano (NHK General, Sundays at 8 PM, etc.), will air its 26th episode on July 5th. The subtitle for this episode is "Make Nobunaga Laugh!", and the synopsis and still images have been released.

"BROTHERS IN ARMS (Toyotomi Brothers!)" is the 65th Taiga drama. With Toyotomi Hidenaga (Koichiro) as the protagonist, it depicts the miraculous feat of unifying Japan together with his older brother Hideyoshi (Tokichiro) through their strong bond, a success story of dreams and hopes.
The script is written by Hiroyuki Yatsu, known for his work on "Hanzawa Naoki" (TBS) and the Asadora drama series "Ochoyan." The music is composed by Hideaki Kimura, and the narration is provided by actress Sakura Ando.
In episode 26, Nobunaga (Shun Oguri) breaks his promise to Motochika Chosokabe (Hiroyuki Isobe) and effortlessly seizes control of Shikoku.
Motochika is furious, and Mitsuhide (Kaname Jun), who tried to mediate, finds himself in a difficult position. Meanwhile, Nobunaga suspects his nephew Nobusumi (Ogata Atsushi) of colluding with Chosokabe and plotting rebellion, and orders him to stay under house arrest. Koichiro (Nakano Taiga) and Hideyoshi (Ikematsu Sosuke), having heard the whole story from Mitsuhide and sensing Nobunaga's distress, devise a plan with the entire Hashiba family and invite Nobunaga and Ichi (Aoi Miyazaki) to Nagahama Castle...and so the story unfolds.
