It has been revealed that actress Yuka Ogura will appear in "Strange - Junji Ito 's Strange Stories That Will Keep You Up at Night" (TV Tokyo, Fridays at 12:12 AM), an anthology drama series that adapts 13 masterpieces by Junji Ito , known for his horror manga "Tomie." Ogura will play Ruriko, who appears in episode 9, "The Woman with the Ribs."
Ruriko is the girlfriend of the protagonist Yuri's ( Nagisa Saito) brother, and the object of Yuri's admiration. With her beautiful, slender waist, Ruriko stimulates Yuri's obsession with "beauty," but eventually drags her into a terrifying fate with the ominous words, "Your ribs will be taken."
