It has been announced that a special promotional video (PV) will be produced for "Mobile Suit Gundam Eight," a manga based on the popular anime series "Gundam." The PV will be directed by Tomoki Kyoda, known for his work on the "Eureka Seven" series, and produced by Raging Bull.
"Mobile Suit Gundam Eight" is a completely new alternative series created by Hajime Kamoshida and Hideaki Takagi, and is currently serialized in "Monthly Gundam Ace" (KADOKAWA). The latest volume, volume 2, was released on June 26th.
In the year 2026, Naomi Subaru, a young man of the new generation of humanity known as "Eight," aspires to become a pilot of a Mobile Suit (MS), a humanoid machine used for extravehicular activities on the space exploration vessel Atlantis. After overcoming numerous difficulties and successfully becoming a regular pilot, Naomi faces his next challenge. A shuttle attack occurs by an MS team calling themselves the Seven Oaths, an organization that harbors resentment towards "Eight." Naomi and Quince are tasked with a rescue mission and rush to the shuttle aboard two state-of-the-art Gundam MS.
