A sequel to the popular TBS Sunday drama "VIVANT" (Sundays at 9 PM), which starred actor Masato Sakai and aired in 2023, will begin airing on July 26th. The main series will be available for streaming on TVer. In addition, a TVer original making-of program, "VIVANT-Adventure Log-," which goes behind the scenes of the filming, will be streamed one episode at a time after each episode airs on terrestrial television.
"VIVANT-Adventure Log-" will deliver a behind-the-scenes look at the production of the "VIVANT" sequel, including large-scale location shoots that took place both domestically and internationally, over a period of about a year, along with valuable making-of footage.
The content offers a glimpse into the true personalities of the star-studded cast, including Masato Sakai, Hiroshi Abe, Fumi Nikaido, Kazunari Ninomiya Tori Matsuzaka, and Tori Matsuzaka, revealing behind-the-scenes conversations and their thoughts on their roles—things you wouldn't see in the show. Furthermore, never-before-seen footage from the first season and the story's origins will also be revealed. It promises to be packed with episodes that can only be found here.
Currently, TVer is streaming the first season of "VIVANT (2023)" until 8:59 PM on July 26th, just before the sequel airs.
