The August issue of the magazine "Monthly Gundam Ace" (KADOKAWA), commemorating its 25th anniversary, went on sale on June 26th. It features an interview with director Yoshiyuki Tomino titled "A Straight Talk to Gundam Ace."
The 25th anniversary special features include an interview with Koji Yokoi, also known as "Artist Yokoi," a conversation between voice actors Shuichi Ikeda and Koichi Yamadera, and illustrations and messages from a total of 48 creators.
New series have started, including "Purple Smoke is Unaffected by Minovsky Phenomena" by Kozo Omori, "Double Fake Reprise" by Kenji Yamamoto, Rui Takato, and Ukyo Kodachi, "Mobile Suit Gundam EXVS. Girls on Extreme" by Yoshio Mokomokomaru Masao, "SD Gundam G Generation Eternal 4-Panel Comic" by Kazuya Tani, and "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED: Problem Solving! Shin & Impulse" by Imaso Kari.
"Mobile Suit Gundam Eight" graces the cover, and the included extras are the "Arsenal Base 'Crossbone Gundam X1 Full Cloth'" and the "Gundam Card Game 'Garrod & Gundam X' Resource Card".
