The program "Platinum Family: A Glimpse into the Life of a Glamorous Family" (TV Asahi, Tuesdays at 7pm *excluding some regions) introduces the lifestyle of a "glamorous family." On June Getsuku, the program will air a "Platinum Family & Tuesday's Yoshizumi Kotaro Combined Special," revealing a "secret lounge" in Ginza, Tokyo, that has never been featured on television before.
The visitor to the lounge was Yuko Mizutani, a cellist who performs on the world stage and is a close friend of Chisako Takashima. This place, which is being featured on television for the first time, is a special space for only a select few, with a membership fee of over 1 million yen and approval only after an interview with the founder.
Yuriya Naito, a friend of Mizutanigawa and co-founder of the club, is also part of the Platinum Family. Her great-grandfather was Hidekazu Naito, a Japanese painter who won awards at international art exhibitions, and she herself is a co-founder of a consulting company.
A concierge is always on hand to assist members with requests such as ticket arrangements. The hotel features a lounge, private rooms, a bar, an art space, a cigar area, and a restaurant, all designed with meticulous attention to detail in interior design and furnishings, creating a sophisticated and refined atmosphere. Guests can enjoy exquisite cuisine prepared by top chefs and a selection of fine beverages while taking in the views of Ginza.
The club's founder, Stéphane Lafay, is a former head of a global brand and a leading figure in the luxury brand industry. He founded the club with the desire to "create an interesting community that transcends nationality, age, gender, and occupation." Mizutanigawa describes the club's unique appeal as "not a place where people with the same background gather, but a diversity based on connections."
