The synopsis for the final episode (airing June 14th) of the TBS Sunday drama "GIFT" (Sundays at 9 PM), starring actor Shinichi Tsutsumi, has been released.
Set against the backdrop of wheelchair rugby, a parasport, the story follows Wutetsu Fumito, a genius astrophysicist played by Tsutsumi, as he searches for answers to difficult problems facing his underdog team. Through genuine emotional and physical challenges, he learns the importance of friendship and family in this story of bonds and redemption. This is a completely original story, with the script written by Tomoki Kanazawa, who has worked on Netflix dramas such as "Sanctuary" and the TV series "Who saw the peacock dance in the jungle?".

However, following Ryo's (Yuki Yamada) death, social media erupts in outrage with calls for accountability. As the tournament headquarters holds an emergency meeting, an online article appears that further pressures Gotetsu (Shinichi Tsutsumi). As a result, the final match is almost canceled, but a single word from Kunimi (Ken Yasuda) leads the tournament headquarters to decide to proceed with the final match on the condition that Gotetsu resigns.
After losing their ace, Ryo, the Bulls also lose their playmaker, Gotetsu, and suddenly lose their cohesion. Amidst this, Hitoka (Kasumi Arimura) learns of Ryo's passion for wheelchair rugby and takes a certain action.
