The latest trailer for the sequel (starting in July) to the popular TBS Sunday drama "VIVANT" (Sundays at 9 PM), starring actor Masato Sakai, has been released, and new stills have been unveiled one after another.
The preview video was released after the end of episode 9 of "GIFT," which aired on the same day, and was also posted on the official Twitter account (@TBS_VIVANT). The official Twitter account had previously announced, "Last week's video was themed as a continuation of the previous work, so it was full of cuts from the previous work, but this week's latest preview will feature many new cuts from season 2," and amidst the many new cuts, a voice that appears to be that of Yusuke Nogi (played by Sakai) can be heard saying, "Why did you try to bring the 'Special Unit' closer to the 'Tent'?"
The new cuts include images of an old van speeding across a sandy area with palm trees and a striking tower in an exotic cityscape, as well as a man gazing at the camera from a boat, a riverbank in what appears to be another location, and a person talking on the phone while riding a camel, which are sure to spark much speculation.
