It has been revealed that Good Smile Company has launched a new project called "Gattai-shin" (Combined God) to commemorate its 25th anniversary. As the first installment, a completely new anime, "Juuou Bushin Dandevine," will be produced and broadcast from October. In addition to Good Smile Company, Aniplex, Takara Tomy, and Toei are also involved, forming a powerful lineup to depict the excitement of "combined robots" with modern visual expression. "Gattai-shin" is not just a temporary fad, but aims to become a "new standard" for combined robot anime in the Reiwa era by developing a series of combined robot anime with different motifs each year.
Cao Yi is directing, Toshiki Inoue is in charge of series composition and scriptwriting, and GOD BRAVE STUDIO is in charge of mechanical design. LIDENFILMS and KAYAC Animation are producing the animation. Takuma Terashima will voice Shizuku Gekijin, Haruka Shiraishi will voice Akane Kuzumi, and Saya Aizawa will voice Saya Aizawa, with Takanori Nishikawa performing the opening theme. It will air in October.
Twenty years have passed since the combined robot Dandevine defeated the mysterious enemy Aposdoll, and the world was at peace. However, Casga, the toy manufacturer that took the world by storm with the Dandevine toy, had become overly dependent on Dandevine and was steadily declining in business. Casga's president, Shizuka Genjuro, wished for Dandevine's revival even if it meant disrupting the peace, and as if his wish had reached heaven, Aposdoll reappeared in Tokyo. As everyone fled in panic, Shizuka Gekijin, a high school student, was invited by his uncle, Kuroiwa Yusaku, the former main pilot, to board Dandevine.
