The second season of the TV anime "Otome Game Sekai wa Mob ni Kidzuku Sekai desu (MobSeka)," based on a popular light novel from the novel submission site "Shosetsuka ni Shosetsuka ni Naro," will begin airing on TOKYO MX and other channels from July 8th. Additional cast members have also been announced, with Yui Ogura voicing Heltrauda, a new character appearing in the second season. Heltrauda is the second princess of the Principality of Fanorth and Heltrude's younger sister, and plots revenge against the kingdom on behalf of her sister, who is studying abroad there.
The second key visual has been released. It depicts the main characters Leon, Olivia, Angelica, and Marie, who attend the academy in the Kingdom of Holfort, as well as Princess Hertrude of the Duchy of Fanos, who tormented Leon and his friends during the attack on their school trip in the first season, and the Black Knights Bandel and Hertrauda.
To commemorate the start of the second season, a special program, "Mob Seka Season 2 Start Celebration! Lots of Fun Special," will air on AT-X on July 2nd at 10 PM. The program will feature Takeo Otsuka(voice of Leon), Kana Ichinose(voice of Olivia), and Fairouz Ai(voice of Angelica).
"Mob Seka" is a light novel written by Yomu Mishima and illustrated by Meng Da. The story follows the protagonist, Rion, who is reincarnated as a background character in the world of an otome game, as he uses his knowledge from his previous life playing games to rise through the ranks in a society where women are superior to men.
The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2022.
