The seventh episode of the drama series "Galaxy Vote" (Kansai TV/Fuji TV, Mondays at 10 PM), starring actress Haru Kuroki, aired on June 1st. Akari's (Kayo Noro) painful past was revealed, and comments such as "It made me cry" spread on social media.

Akari began by telling Mari (Kuroki) and the other members of "Team Akari" that there was something she needed to talk to them about, and showed them an old weekly magazine article. It featured a picture of Akari and stated that "the school nurse was the one who drove a junior high school girl to attempt suicide."
At the time, Akari was working as a school nurse at a junior high school. She spent time with Honoka Suzuhara (played by Mayu Nemoto), a student who attended school in the infirmary and made dolls, and gradually they became close friends.
One night, Honoka's mother forbade her from making dolls at home and told her not to go to the nurse's office. Honoka came to Akari's apartment and cried, "I'm going to kill myself, Mom! If she won't let me make dolls, if I can't go to the nurse's office, I'm going to kill myself!" Akari hugged Honoka and suggested, "Why don't you try your best (to go to class)?" Akari then sent Honoka home alone.
However, Honoka later got into an argument with her mother and jumped off the balcony. She was not seriously injured, but Akari was held responsible and suspended from work. She was also forbidden from having any contact with Honoka. The incident was reported in weekly magazines, and Akari was criticized on social media for "driving Honoka to the brink." Akari felt she could no longer stay at school or at home, and she longed to disappear.
On social media, comments included: "Akari's past made me cry," "I cried along with Akari's tears," "It's difficult, I don't know what to say, I don't know what the right answer is...it's too painful," "Is this Akari's fault? It's so sad," and "No way, this isn't Akari's fault."
The drama is an "election entertainment" story in which Mari Hoshino scouts Akari Tsukioka, a bar owner with no political experience, to be her election strategist, and together they take on the Tokyo gubernatorial election.
