"Kaze,Kaoru" is the 114th morning Asadora. Based on the story of two trained nurses, Chika Ozeki and Masa Suzuki, who graduated from the same nursing school, the drama depicts how the two grow through their struggles and clashes with each other in how to interact with patients and doctors, and eventually become the "ultimate buddy" team. Mikami plays the main character, Rin Ichinose, and Uesaka plays the other main character, Naomi Oya.
In the ninth week, on the day of Chikako's (Yukie Nakama) surgery, Rin (Mikami) is moved when she sees nurse Fuyu (Tsubaki Nekozawa) skillfully assisting Dr. Imai (Yuta Furukawa) during the surgery.
Rin once again pleads with Fuyu (Tsubaki Nekozawa) to let her learn how to assist in surgery. After learning about Fuyu's family situation, Rin and Naomi (Uesaka) agree to take care of Fuyu's husband, Kosuke (Jiro), who is unable to work due to an injury, on their days off.
Eventually, Fuyu offers to teach Rin how to assist in surgery, and the relationship between the nurse and the apprentice begins to change little by little. Meanwhile, Naomi hears from Kanta (Kisetsu Fujiwara) at Yoshie's (Taizo Harada) church about "Yunagi," who is believed to be his mother... and the story unfolds from there.
