It has been announced that the TV anime "I'm a Timid Shosetsuka ni Naro, But I Got on a Bet with My Ruthless Fiancé," based on a light novel that originated on the novel submission site "Shosetsuka ni Narou," will begin airing in October. It has also been announced that Rina Hidaka, who plays Caroline Ramsay, the heroine of the otome game "Caroline and the Rainbow Magic Sweets,"Sora Amamiya Amamiya, who plays Erin White, the protagonist Pia's friend, and Haruki Ishitani, who plays Henry Cox, Erin's fiancé, will be appearing in the anime, and the first promotional video has been released.

This work is a light novel written by Hiro Oda, who passed away in June 2024, with illustrations by Tsubasa.v. It is a "villainess-themed doting romantic comedy" in which Pia Rockwell, who has been reincarnated as a minor villainess in an otome game, and her fiancé Rufus Stan try to avoid the flags of their engagement being broken and their exile from the country.
The anime will be directed by Nobuaki Nakanishi and produced by Jumondo. Miku Ito will voice the main character, Pia Rockwell, and Ryota Osaka will voice Rufus Stan.
