The long-running variety show "Shinkon-san Irasshai!" (Welcome, Newlyweds!), hosted by Takashi Fujii and Sakura Inoue (ABC TV/TV Asahi network, Sundays at 12:55 PM), will air its first-ever "Two-Week Consecutive Feature on the Same Couple" on May 31st, featuring a couple from Tokyo.
Tamon Takemata (28, navigator) and his wife Mio (28, IT sales) met 27 years ago when they were both babies. They were born at almost the same time in the same hospital in Osaka. In fact, they had a miraculous first meeting shortly after birth, and the actual footage, filmed by the husband's father, will be shown in the studio.
The two women lost all contact during their childhood when their husbands moved. They had no memory of each other, and their parents also cut off contact, so they grew up as complete strangers. However, two years ago, they miraculously reunited through a dating app they had both registered for, and the wheels of fate began to turn.
Attracted by each other's profiles, on the way home from their first date, in the middle of Tokyo Station, the husband made an unexpectedly bold move. During their courtship, when the husband introduced his wife to his parents, the conversation began with a story about the hospital where she was born, and together with memories of his parents, the couple's 27 years together unfolded.
MC Fujii announced, "Someone who has been deeply involved in your lives is actually in the audience," and then a person who was present at the moment of your birth 29 years ago appeared.
