Former TV Tokyo announcer and talent Kasumi Mori appeared as a studio MC on the fifth episode of ABEMA's matchmaking reality show "Clockwork Marriage," which aired on May 26th. When the topic turned to whether she was the type to introduce her boyfriend to her parents, Mori replied that she was "the type to introduce them fairly quickly," and then confessed a shocking episode from her past relationships.
When asked if her parents ever told her to stay away from him, Mori revealed, "Yes, they did. It was emotional abuse where he felt like he was controlling me. I was completely unaware of it until I introduced him to my parents."
He said he started to have doubts after his parents pointed out that Mori's behavior was "not normal," but he revealed, "I dated him for a year with that in mind... and finally I realized," which drew a retort from the MC members saying, "That's so long!!"
This series is a dating reality show that follows three beautiful women who are confident in their romantic abilities but are complete novices when it comes to finding a spouse. They must find a partner within a 30-day time limit before their wedding.
