It has been announced that two vinyl soundtracks for the anime series "ARIA," based on the manga by Kozue Amano, will be released simultaneously on September 2nd: "ARIA The NATURAL ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK due -vinyl edition-" and "ARIA The ORIGINATION ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK tre -vinyl edition-." This marks the second release of the soundtracks on vinyl, featuring the soundtracks for the second season of the TV anime, "ARIA The NATURAL," and the third season, "ARIA The ORIGINATION."
Just like the first release in 2025, the jacket will feature the original illustration from the time of the CD's release. The first pressings will be special colored vinyl editions inspired by "ARIA," and each will be a double LP set. "ARIA The NATURAL ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK due -vinyl edition-" will feature a clear deep blue inspired by the ARIA Company and a clear red inspired by Himeya, while "ARIA The ORIGINATION ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK tre -vinyl edition-" will feature a clear lime yellow inspired by Orange Planet and a clear orange inspired by the sunset over Neo-Venice, which is also depicted on the jacket.
The first-press limited edition of "ARIA The ORIGINATION ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK tre -vinyl edition-" comes with an analog record storage box featuring an original illustration by the author, Amano. The illustration depicts the protagonist, Akari Mizunashi, and President Aria gazing at the viewer with their backs to the window in a room where the refreshing sunlight of Neo-Venice shines beautifully through a gap in the curtains. The storage box can hold all three analog records: the two released on September 2nd and the first release scheduled for 2025.
"ARIA" is based on a manga that was serialized in the manga magazine "Monthly Comic Blade" (Mag Garden, now defunct) from 2002 to 2008. Set in a city modeled after Venice, the city of water, it depicts the daily training of the protagonist, Akari Mizunashi, who aims to become a full-fledged gondolier at the ARIA Company, as well as her interactions with friends and seniors. The first season of the TV anime aired in 2005, the second season in 2006, and the third season in 2008, and an OVA (Original Video Animation) was also produced.
The theatrical anime films "ARIA The AVVENIRE" (released in 2015) and "ARIA The CREPUSCOLO" and "ARIA The BENEDIZIONE" (released in 2021) were also released as a "blue curtain call," which generated considerable buzz.
