A promotional video has been released on YouTube to commemorate the release of the latest volume, volume 19, of Mamoru Nagano's popular manga "The Five Star Stories" (KADOKAWA), which went on sale on Getsuku. The video features Maria Kawamura, who voices the roles of the Priestess Lahn, the indigo-haired Lachesis, and the more relaxed Lachesis. Volume 19 is the first new volume in approximately 1 year and 2 months, and includes "Emperor's Highlander," set in the Fillmore Empire, and "Traffics ~ Terminal," which depicts the journey of Yohn Beintzel.
In "Emperor's Highlander," Emperor Dai-Gu of Fillmore's illness worsens after participating in the defense of Nakakara, and his life is nearing its end. With the emperor absent, Ado and others plot to seize power, and a mysterious group of knights appears. In "Traffics ~ Terminal," Yohn, who was defeated by the Black Knight Decors Weismel and lost Fatima Palsette, finally decides to become a knight. He begins days of intense training with the Mirage Knights in an attempt to make a comeback.
"The Five Star Stories" depicts the thousands of years of warfare between the Automatic Flowers, artificial life forms that support the operation of the Gothicmade mechs, and knights with superhuman abilities. It has been serialized in the anime magazine "Monthly Newtype" since the April 1986 issue.
The June issue of "Monthly Newtype," released on May Getsuku, features "The Five Star Stories" on its cover, with Nagano providing an original illustration of the GTM Schpertor.
