The fifth episode of the TBS Sunday drama "GIFT," starring actor Shinichi Tsutsumi, will air on May 10th (Sundays at 9 PM).
In the previous episode... Hitoka (Kasumi Arimura) was investigating an accident in which Keijiro (Kyohei Honda) was paralyzed from the waist down when he was riding his motorcycle at the age of 17. When Hitoka heard that Keijiro's accident happened on a day of heavy rain, she remembered that her own father, Hideo (So Yamanaka), had an accident on a day of heavy rain as well. Furthermore, it was revealed that the victim of Hideo's accident was Keijiro, leaving Hitoka speechless.
In episode 5...the Bulls were buzzing with excitement as they prepared for the Memorial Cup. Keijiro had shown remarkable improvement, and even the ace, Ryo (Yuki Yamada), was beginning to acknowledge him. Gotetsu (Tsutsumi) was busy devising strategies to win.
Kou (Yuta Tamamori) learns from his mother, Hiroe (Tomoko Yamaguchi), that Wu Tetsu is his father. When he meets Wu Tetsu, he blurts out something he doesn't mean.
Meanwhile, Hitoka was so affected by Hideo's accident that she couldn't bring herself to show up for Bulls practice.
Hitoka, having made up her mind, confesses everything to Keijiro. What will Keijiro do after hearing it...?
