It has been announced that a two-disc CD set titled "Ganbare! Nakamura-kun!! Sound Collection," featuring music from the TV anime "Ganbare! Nakamura-kun!!," which is based on Harunori's "classic BL comedy" manga, will be released on June 24th.
The anime's ending theme features a different classic J-pop song from the 1980s and 90s each week, which has been a hot topic since the start of its broadcast. All 12 of these songs are included on "DISC 1" of the two-disc CD set. "DISC 2" contains 40 instrumental tracks from the anime's background music. The tracks are different from those on the original soundtrack CD that will be included as a bonus with the anime's Blu-ray and DVD releases, which will be available sequentially from June 10th.
The CD for the opening theme song "Shunpatsu-teki ni Koi Shiyou," sung by Yasuyuki Okamura and Kento Nakajima, will be released on May 27th.
"Go for it, Nakamura-kun!!" is a popular manga series that depicts the fantasies and reckless actions of Nakamura Otoko, a shy high school boy, as he experiences unrequited love for his classmate, Hirose Aiki, in a style reminiscent of the 1980s and 90s. The manga is published by Heroes.
The anime is directed by Aoi Umeki, who also handles the script and character design. Drive is producing it. Chiaki Kobayashi voices Okuto Nakamura, and Yuki Sakakibara voices Aki Hirose. It is currently airing on TOKYO MX and other channels.
