In "Super Princess Kaguya!", the main character Kaguya plays this pinball action game where she bounces mysterious eggs falling from the sky with her thighs and aims for the enemy's weak points to fight. The Android version was released in March and has surpassed 20,000 downloads. The iOS version has now been released in response to requests from users.
To coincide with the release of the iOS version, two new game modes have been added: "Original" mode, which recreates the high-difficulty version that Kaguya played in the movie, and the stacking mini-game "The Great Escape of the Thigh Rabbit."
It was also announced that a plush toy of the Thigh Rabbit character from the game will be sold in a limited edition of 10 worldwide. It will be available for purchase at the "FORTY DEGREES JAPAN" event, which will be held on May Getsuku and 10th at the National Yoyogi Gymnasium First and Second Gymnasiums (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo).
"Super Princess Kaguya!" premiered as a Netflix movie on January 22nd, and due to its success, it began theatrical release on February 20th. It has become an exceptional hit for a film that was initially released on Netflix, grossing over 2 billion yen and attracting over 1.02 million viewers.
In this "music anime" inspired by the classic "The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter," 17-year-old high school girl Iroha Sakayori, who is juggling part-time jobs and schoolwork, encounters Kaguya, who emerges from a gaming-themed utility pole that glows in seven colors. The anime was produced by Studio Colorido, known for works such as "Penguin Highway," and Studio Chromato, led by director Yamashita. A host of talented Vocaloid producers, including ryo from "supercell," kz from "livetune," 40mP, HoneyWorks, Aqu3ra, and yuigot, provided the music.
