The synopsis and still images for the third episode of the TBS Friday drama "Takusari Brothers" (Fridays at 10 PM), starring actor Masaki Okada and also featuring Shota Sometani, have been released. The episode will air on May 1st.
Tsuda (played by Iio Kazuki), who was suspected of killing the parents of Makoto (played by Okada) and Minoru (played by Someya), was found. However, Tsuda was hospitalized with terminal cancer and in a coma. There was a possibility that he might never wake up. Makoto and Minoru bit their lips in helplessness, unable to do anything even though the person who might be the culprit was right in front of them.
Meanwhile, an incident believed to be arson and murder occurred in an apartment building. The victim was a woman in her twenties, Aiko Mizusawa, who lived alone. According to her friend Saki, who had been in contact with her shortly before the incident, Aiko had been stalked by a man named "Togo."
During his investigation, Minoru discovers a piece of physical evidence that holds the key to unraveling the mystery behind the arson case.
The drama follows Shin Tagasari, a detective at the Qingwei Police Station, and his younger brother, Minoru Tagasari, a medical examiner working in the provincial police's investigative division, as they investigate daily heinous crimes and pursue the true culprit in a case of their parents' murder that expired just two days before the statute of limitations was abolished. This is the latest work from producer Junko Arai, who has worked on hit crime suspense works such as the film "Last Mile" and the dramas "Unnatural," "MIU404," and "Saiai."
