The second episode of the TBS Friday drama "Tagusari Brothers" (Fridays at 10 PM), starring actor Masaki Okada and also featuring Shota Sometani, aired on April 24th. Viewers have been expressing suspicions about Yuki Mogi (Takashi Yamanaka), the owner of the local Chinese restaurant "Mocchan," who has supported the Tagusari brothers, Makoto (Okada) and his younger brother Minoru (Sometani), for 30 years since their parents were murdered.

The drama follows Detective Makoto and Medical Examiner Minoru as they investigate heinous crimes that occur daily and pursue the true culprit in the murder of their parents, a case that expired just two days before the statute of limitations was abolished. This is the latest work from producer Junko Arai, who has worked on hit crime suspense works such as the film "Last Mile" and the dramas "Unnatural," "MIU404," and "Saiai."
One day, while Minoru was eating at the restaurant, Koki brought up the topic of Haruko Ashikaga (Haruka Igawa), an informant at a pawn shop. Haruko was the girl who was attacked by someone who appeared to be the culprit in front of the Tagasari family home when Makoto and Minoru's parents were murdered in 1995.
Koki told Minoru, "You should go see her too (just like Makoto). If you keep waiting like this, it will become even harder to see her," but Minoru didn't answer. He looked at a delivery slip nearby and pointed out to Koki, "The price doesn't match the amount of seasoning. Make sure you check it properly, or the supplier will rip you off."
When Koki replied, "Yes, yes. I understand," Minoru stated firmly, "I have no intention of seeing (Haruko). It's better if she doesn't get involved with us anymore." The scene then depicts Koki staring intently at Minoru.
Social media was buzzing with comments like, "Once again, I can't help but think Mocchan is suspicious lol I hope Mocchan is a good person", "I think everyone suspects Mocchan", "I don't like the idea that Mocchan is the culprit...", "There must be a reason why Mocchan is bad at math", and "I wonder why Mocchan keeps making calculation mistakes".
