Ken Watabe of the comedy duo "Unjash" appeared on the ABEMA variety show "Chance no Jikan" which aired on April 26th. He shared anecdotes from his time on hiatus.
On this day, a 100-minute extended special titled "Anjash Watabe Ken's Great Escape from Real-Life Online Controversy ~Please Forgive Me, Nationwide SP~" was broadcast. In an extreme situation where he would be blown up if he couldn't escape the cabin within the time limit, Watabe had to take on various "rituals."
Amidst all this, during the "Last Supper" ceremony, Yamazaki Yasuhiro, president of Yamaji, a wholesale dealer at Toyosu Market where Watanabe had worked part-time during his suspension, appeared via video. Reflecting on the time when the scandal broke, President Yamazaki said, "Honestly, I thought, 'What is he doing?'" However, he also revealed, "When I met him afterward, he had a look in his eyes that said something was wrong, and he looked completely exhausted. I thought I had to get him out of the house as soon as possible, so I told him, 'Then why don't you work at my shop?'"
On the other hand, he also revealed an anecdote from his first day as a part-timer, saying, "When he came to the market, he arrived in a huge Mercedes. I thought, 'Can't he be a little more considerate?'" The MCs, the comedy duo Chidori, burst into laughter. Watanabe gave a wry smile and said, "Just forget about that, boss!"
