The synopsis and still images for the third episode of the TV Asahi drama series "Reborn ~The Last Hero~" (Tuesdays at 9 PM), starring actor Issei Takahashi, have been released. The episode will air on April 28th.
Having come to accept his new life as Hideto Nomoto, reincarnated in the 2012 world, Mitsunori Neo (Takahashi) uses his "14 years' worth of memories" to revive the Akari Shopping Street, which he had once tried to shut down. Furthermore, with the 10 million yen he won in a bet with Yoshitaka Togo (Masachika Ichimura), he begins to see a way to repay the debts his father, Eiji Nomoto (Fumiyo Kohinata), has incurred.
Meanwhile, it is revealed that Eito, before his reincarnation, had proposed to Iketani Sarasa (played by Nakamura Anne). However, although he is now playing the role of Eito, Mitsumasa is still the cold and ruthless person he once was. Believing that Sarasa would be unhappy if they got married, he searches for a way to make her happy other than through marriage.
Hideto, noticing Sarasa's overwhelming artistic talent, cleverly manipulates her, using lies to guide her towards a career in art rather than marriage. He arranges for Sarasa to have a solo exhibition at a famous gallery in Tokyo, involving Togo and "NEOXIS" in his scheme to bring Sarasa to prominence as an artist, but...
The drama tells the story of a man who is reborn as a different person and given a second chance at life. The script is written by Hiroshi Hashimoto, who has also written dramas such as "The Grand Family" (TBS), "Job Hunting Family: It'll Surely Work Out," "Adult High School," and "Sky Castle" (all on TV Asahi).
