It has been announced that Mutsumi Tamura and Yoshito Yasuhara will be joining the cast of the TV anime "Atelier of Witch Hat," based on the manga by Kamome Shirahama. Tamura will play Tata, a boy who helps his grandfather run the magic goods shop, Hoshi no Ken, in the wizarding town of Karun, while Yasuhara will play Nornoa, the elderly owner of Hoshi no Ken and Tata's grandfather. Tata and Nornoa will appear from episode 4, "An Encounter in Karun," which will air on April 27th. A short preview of episode 4 has been released on YouTube.
Tata's character visual has also been released. It is accompanied by the line, "In this world where everything is silver, you can't even see possibilities," which symbolizes the feelings of Tata, who suffers from a condition called silver vision syndrome, in which all colors appear silver to her.
Tamura, who plays Tata, commented, "I am very happy to be involved in a project that has stayed with me since the audition. The animation for the voice recording was very detailed, with the characters' expressions and so on, and although I can't say too much yet, Tata has a lot of different feelings, so it was a very memorable time for me to play him. The anime adaptation is currently airing on TOKYO MX and other channels.
