The drama is based on the manga "DINKs' Ten Months and Ten Days: Is It Wrong to Be a Woman Who Doesn't Have Children?" by Kitamitsu Atsuki. The story follows a couple who are both working and have intentionally chosen not to have children, a "DINKs" (Double Income No Kids) couple, who live a peaceful and free life until the protagonist becomes unexpectedly pregnant due to her husband's planned betrayal. The drama depicts their struggles as they search for the right form of family and continue to face choices with no easy answers.
Asa is shaken by her unexpected pregnancy. She doesn't tell Tetsuya and lies, saying she's on her period. Meanwhile, Tetsuya secretly checks the sanitary bin in the bathroom in the middle of the night and confirms that Asa hasn't had her period. The next day, he tells his colleague Nashida (Mizuki Maehara), "Asa said she had her period yesterday, but that was a lie. I knew because there were no sanitary napkins in the bin."
Furthermore, when Asa complained of nausea, he coldly said, "Morning sickness..." Later, while Asa was sleeping, he checked her smartphone and search history, and upon seeing the keywords, he became certain that Asa was pregnant, and he was overjoyed.
