A new anime series based on Eiichiro Oda's popular manga, "LEGO ONE PIECE," has been produced and will be exclusively streamed worldwide on Netflix starting September 29th. Set in the world of the building block toy "LEGO," the Straw Hat Pirates' "tall tale"Usopp tells Chopper, who has just joined the crew on Drum Island, the story of their voyages so far, from the perspective of a "builder."
The first look at Usopp and Chopper, along with a trailer, has been released. The trailer comically depicts Usopp exaggerating his adventures and heroic tales.
"ONE PIECE" depicts the adventures of Luffy, a young man wearing a straw hat whose limbs can stretch like rubber, as he sails the high seas with his crew in pursuit of becoming the Pirate King. The manga began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) in 1997. The comic books have sold over 600 million copies worldwide. The TV anime began airing in 1999, and in October 2024, it celebrated its 25th anniversary.
