It has been revealed that model Angela Mei will play the previous Goju Unicorn/Misaki Kuroba in "No.1 Sentai Gozyuger Beginning" (streaming from April 19th), an original work for Toei's app service "Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club (TTFC)". Angela, who played Kamen Rider Sabera/Reika Kamishiro in "Kamen Rider Saber" (2020-21), will now be "transforming" in both Kamen Rider and Super Sentai.
This film is a prequel to the Super Sentai series "No.1 Sentai Gozyuger," which aired its final episode in February. It depicts the past of Mashiro Kumade (played by Kaiki Kimura), before he became Goju Polar, when he fought as the previous Goju Wolf.
Misaki Kuroba is one of the "previous Gojuger" members and transforms into Goju Unicorn. She is a fortune teller and also a hitman. Angela expressed her surprise, saying, "Honestly, I never dreamed that I would be transforming into one of the 'previous Gojuger' members in ' No.1 Sentai Gozyuger '!" She added with joy, "I am so happy and grateful to think that all the connections I've made so far have led to this offer!"
She addressed her fans, saying, "I am once again reminded that the fact that I am still able to work on projects like this, thanks to the connections I made through 'Saber,' is all thanks to everyone who has supported me. I believe that it is because of your watchful eyes that I have been able to receive such wonderful connections and experiences, so I am truly filled with gratitude!! It was also announced that the previous Gojueagle/Midori Itokiri will be played by Itono Okita , known for her role as Atropos, one of the Dark Sisters in " Kamen Rider Gotchard " (2023-2024). Additionally, the previous Gojuleon/Seiya Aoto will be played by Koki Niiyama, and the previous Gojutyranno/Naoto Kitora will be played by Motoki Fukami.
