It has been announced that Fuji TV's anime introduction program "Animedama," hosted by comedian Koji Higashino, will begin airing on March 30th at 12:45 AM. This will be Higashino's first time hosting an anime introduction program. The first episode will feature manga Yusei Matsui , known for the popular manga " Assassination Classroom" and "The Elusive Samurai " (both published by Shueisha), and will showcase his home and workplace. This will be Matsui's first time being featured on television.
This issue features an in-depth interview with Matsui, the author of " Assassination Classroom," which is celebrating its 10th anniversary since the end of its serialization and the conclusion of its TV anime broadcast, and "The Elusive Samurai," which ended its serialization in February of this year and has also been confirmed for its first nationwide TV anime broadcast. The interview delves into his dedication to his works and his thoughts on anime.
Gaku from the comedy duo "Shinku Jessica," a fan of Matsui's work, and Yoko Shogenji from the idol group "Hinatazaka46," who loves manga and anime, visit Matsui's home and workplace to hear about the appeal of her work, behind-the-scenes stories of the production of each piece, and her thoughts on "Assassination Classroom: Everyone's Time" the movie. They also get to the bottom of Matsui's surprising way of eating at home and at work.
Immediately after filming, Gaku reflected, "It was a workplace where you could really feel Mr. Matsui's dedication... and being able to see it firsthand was a very valuable experience." Shogenji excitedly added, "I was so happy to see the overwhelming amount of merchandise! So I hope that viewers will feel like they're exploring Mr. Matsui's workplace with us!"
It was also announced during the program that the anime "The Great Adventures of the Stray Sheep," which premiered in 1994, will be rebroadcast. In the series, Poe the sheep, who is undeterred by the cold winds of the desolate northern lands and the friction of atmospheric re-entry, takes on various adventures at the boundary between the Land of Sleep and the Land of Reality.
After the initial broadcast, it is scheduled to air once a month in the Kanto region starting in April.
