A plastic model kit of "30MF Armored Samurai Troopers: Blazing Gai" (Bandai Spirits), a new TV anime series that is a direct sequel to the "Armored Samurai Troopers" TV anime series which aired from April 1988 to March 1989, was released on March 21st. It costs 5500 yen.
This new anime is the first in approximately 35 years since the OVA "Ronin Warriors: Message" released in 1991, and it's also generating buzz because it's the first TV anime series to air in about 37 years.
The protagonist, Gai, is brought to life in the "30MF" format. By swapping parts, he can transform from his undergear to his armor gear. Hand parts and effects for recreating the armor summoning scene, as well as two swords, are included.
