The official Twitter account (@reboot_tbs) for the TBS Sunday drama "Reboot" (Sundays at 9pm), starring Ryohei Suzuki, has been updated with an "urgent announcement" that there will be new information to be released at 4am tomorrow.
Official X posted the following: "A powerful politician aiming to become the next prime minister," "A top-secret plan unfolding beneath the surface," and "The mastermind connected to the dark organization of Goroku!?", along with a silhouette photo of the cast member playing the powerful politician.
Comments on this post include "Who could it be?", "Is this the appearance of Yaichi Makita?", "That silhouette...is it Jun Kunimura?", "I'm looking forward to it", and "I'm also looking forward to episode 8 and beyond".
In episode 7 (aired March 8th), Hayase (Suzuki), disguised as Gido (Suzuki), witnesses Makita (Ito Hideaki) and Goroku (Kitamura Yukiya) in a private room at Goroku's shop. He discreetly hides and observes, and sees a man called "Yaichi-san" enter the room with Makita. This man is Makita Yaichi.
When Hayase pointed out Yaichi, Makita said, "The whale I'm targeting is Makita Yaichi," indicating his intention to arrest his own brother. Only Yaichi's back was shown in his first appearance, leading to various speculations on social media about who was playing him.
