Fuyuhashi heard from Hayase (Suzuki), who had taken the place of Gido (Suzuki), that he had discovered the hiding place of 10 billion yen worth of missing goods. He asked Hayase how she had managed to find the goods while being monitored by Ichika (Toda Erika) on her smartphone.
Fuyuhashi was surprised to hear, "Machi (Ueno Suzuka) has cooperated. She said she'll lend a hand for Natsumi (Yamaguchi Sayaka)." He quickly called Machi, but the call was not answered. Grabbing Hayase by the collar, Fuyuhashi yelled with rage, "Where is the 10 billion? Machi is trying to steal the 10 billion so that no more of her comrades will be sacrificed. Where is it?" and hurried off to the hiding place.
"Machi, are you okay, Machi?"
When Fuyuhashi arrived, Machi was stabbed and covered in blood, and died after saying, "Fuyuhashi, thank you for becoming part of our family." Fuyuhashi screamed as if something had burst.
Social media was buzzing with comments such as, "This reboot is so sad. It's too sad," "Fuyuhashi's scream was so painful," "I cried so much watching the Fuyuhashi episode," "Fuyuhashi's scream brought tears to my eyes. When did Nagase Ren become such a tear-jerker?," and "Fuyuhashi is definitely Nagase Ren's masterpiece. It's amazing."
