The drama is a novel situational comedy set in a small local police station, focusing not on the crime itself but on the troubles that arise around it. It is produced by the staff of NHK's popular comedy program "LIFE!". Ko Shibasaki plays Mano Ichika, a detective at Shingetsu Police Station who hates to lose and wants to accomplish everything on her own. Series 1 aired in 2022, and series 2 in 2024.
In addition to Koshiba, series 3 will also feature Masaru Kasamatsu, Yukiya Kitamura, Kana Kurashina, and Shuhei Nakano, who appeared in the previous two films, with special guest Osamu Mukai also appearing.
The subtitle of the second episode is "Footprints." Mukaida (played by Kurashina) discovers footprints at the crime scene of a certain incident that even the forensic lab at headquarters has not found.
Mukouda and Mano (Koshiba) are excited and devoted to identifying the footprints, believing that if they belong to the culprit, they will be able to expose the headquarters. Meanwhile, something seems strange about Inspector Tanizaki (Kitamura). When Udagawa (Kasamatsu) questions Tanizaki, he "confesses" that the footprints were left by mistake.
