It has been announced that Nippon Television announcer Kuroda Miyu will be the fourth MC for the Sunday variety show "Shuichi" (Nippon Television, Saturday 5:55 AM, Sunday 7:30 AM), which is celebrating its 16th year, starting in April. Kuroda expressed her enthusiasm, saying, "I hope I can help make Sundays a wonderful day for everyone who watches," and stated her goal: "I want to go on location with my favorite physique brothers!"
MC Nakayama Hideyuki and announcer Kuroda have rarely worked together and have rarely had a chance to talk in person, so the show decided to stage a prank where the two would meet for the first time. The prank was held through a wall, but Nakayama, the one who set it up, seemed delighted with Kuroda's surprised reaction, saying, "Amazing! Reaction Grand Prize!!" The two seemed to have become quite close, and they struck a "Shuichi" pose for their first two-shot, with Kuroda beaming and saying, "I'm so happy."
It was also announced that Natsuki Taki, who will be in her 11th year with the company in April, will be appearing as a new member on Sundays. Taki commented, "It's a show that my family watches every week, so even my son, who will soon be three years old, has mastered the Shuichi pose, so I was honestly happy." She will mainly be in charge of the news corner.

Until now, I have been in charge of weekday morning programs, but from now on, together with Nakayama Hideyuki, I hope to help viewers have a wonderful Sunday.
--What do you want to do and aim for with "Shuichi"?
Shuichi told me that when he talks about things he likes or is interested in, people say, "That's interesting!" and it often becomes a project. I like comedy, food, beauty, etc., so I would love to do a project that makes use of my "interests." I love the Physique Brothers, so I would love to do a location shoot with them! (laughs)

Above all else, I hope to cherish the "Shuichi-ness" that has been built up over the past 15 years, centered around Hide-san, and add a new color as a member of the program. Shuichi covers a wide range of content, from news that looks back on the week to interesting location shoots like the Physique Brothers, so I want to keep my ears open to a variety of things and deliver them with all my might!
--What do you want to do and aim for with "Shuichi"?
I want to share the charms of my hometown, Hokkaido. In particular, Otofuke Town in Hokkaido, where I was born and raised, is a town that boasts beautiful scenery, rich food, and hot spring inns. My hobby is motorcycle touring, so I dream of taking Hide in the sidecar and riding through the vast natural scenery! Last year, I also obtained a yoga instructor qualification. Even if it's just for a short time in the morning, yoga to check the state of my mind and body and regulate my breathing is a good way to start the day, so I'd love to have a segment where I can do yoga with viewers. One day, I'd also like to go to India, the birthplace of yoga, to train!
